1. Introduction
PureNude - Make Up ("PureNude", "the App", "we", "our") is a mobile application for discovering beauty creators — watching their upcoming live sessions and short "look" videos, following the artists you love, and saving the looks that inspire you.
We care about your privacy. Your in-app activity — the looks you save, the reminders you set, and the creators you block — is stored locally on your device. We do not require you to create an account to browse.
2. Information We Process
The App processes the following categories of information:
- Saved looks & reminders: the looks you favorite and the upcoming lives you set a reminder for, stored on your device.
- Moderation choices: the creators you block and the content you report, stored on your device so we can keep hiding it.
- Onboarding state: whether you have completed the intro.
- Device & campaign identifiers: if you allow tracking, a device advertising identifier and attribution data are used to measure how you discovered the app (see section 7).
- Push token: if you allow notifications, a push token so we can send live reminders (see section 8).
3. On-Device Storage
Your saved looks, reminders, blocked creators, reported content, and onboarding state are stored locally on your device. If you delete the App, this locally stored data is permanently removed.
4. Camera, Microphone & Photos
PureNude may request access to your camera, microphone, and photo library so you can record a look, join a live session, or choose a profile photo.
- Purpose-limited: these permissions are used only for the feature you invoke — for example, recording a video you choose to share.
- Your control: all permissions are optional and can be revoked at any time in your device Settings. Denying a permission simply disables that feature.
- Profile photo stays on your device: the optional profile photo you take or choose is stored only in the App's local storage on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers and is not shared with any third party. You can remove it at any time from the Profile tab, and deleting the App deletes it permanently.
No face data or biometric data. PureNude does not collect, process, store, or share face data or any other biometric data. The App does not perform facial recognition, face detection, face mapping, face tracking, or facial-geometry analysis; it does not create or store faceprints or face templates; it does not offer virtual try-on or augmented-reality face effects; and it does not use ARKit face tracking, the TrueDepth camera API, or Face ID. No face data is transmitted to our servers or to any third party, and none is retained, because none is ever collected.
5. Creator Content You See
Live sessions and look videos are user-generated content created by makeup artists on PureNude. Creators are responsible for the content they publish. We provide tools to filter, report, and block content and creators (see section 6), and we act on reports of content that violates our guidelines.
6. Reporting & Blocking
PureNude has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. From any look or creator profile you can:
- Report content you find inappropriate. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours and content that violates our guidelines is removed.
- Block a creator so their lives and looks are hidden from you across the app.
Your blocks and reports are stored on your device so the affected content stays hidden.
7. Analytics & Advertising
With your permission (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt), PureNude uses attribution tooling to understand which campaigns brought you to the app and to measure performance. This may involve your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and attribution parameters.
If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", we do not access the advertising identifier for cross-app tracking. You can change this choice at any time in Settings.
8. Push Notifications
If you allow notifications, we use a push token to send you reminders for the live sessions you asked to be reminded about, plus occasional updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device Settings.
9. Device Permissions
- Camera: to record a look or go live.
- Microphone: to capture audio when you record or join a live session.
- Photo Library: to choose a photo for your profile or a shared look.
- Notifications: to send live reminders.
- Tracking: to measure campaign performance (optional).
10. Your Choices
- Manage saves & reminders: from the Saved tab at any time.
- Unblock creators: blocked creators can be managed from your device.
- Revoke permissions: disable camera, microphone, photos, notifications, or tracking from Settings.
- Uninstall: deleting the App removes all locally stored data.
11. Children's Privacy
PureNude is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in features or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
